Freebie Friday is back

Mystery gifts and Macrame lessons - it's all very exciting!

Would someone please tell me where summer went? Today is officially the first day of Autumn and it's as grey today as it has been since the beginning of August. I think Summer went on holiday somewhere warmer and left Autumn to settle in early.

Anyway, lots of exciting news for the end of this crazy year number 2! Firstly, FREEBIE FRIDAY is back! With the usual panic to find unique and sustainable Christmas presents, I'd like you to consider something from my enormous stash of gifts, clothes, homewares and random bits and pieces that I sometimes get the urge to make. Use the code FREEBIEFRIDAY, you'll get 10% off your order and a little FREEBIE.

If you really want to help save our crumbling planet, try buying products that don't contain plastic, are made from materials that are sourced from sustainable producers and manufacturers with an environmental conscience and from a small business that is trying to make a difference in their own little way; you're in the right place.

My other exciting news is I've found a venue for my Macrame Workshops! I'm so excited! It's been a year since I tried to get these off the ground; the dreaded pandemic, my own personal crisis of confidence that I have to deal with occasionally and a stupid thumb injury (that I'm still recovering from, slowly but surely), has set me back somewhat. But I've now found a gorgeous little cafe in a Hertford owned by a lovely lady called Jo, who has space for me and my macrame frames to make this happen.

I have to say a big thank you to one of my lovely followers, Theresa, who was kind enough to suggest Jo's cafe and put me in touch with her. We are both very excited to get this venture off the ground and are aiming to launch the classes in January 22. Unfortunately I'm still out of action with my thumb and Jo has stuff she needs to sort out at the cafe so we thought a New Year launch would be the perfect option.

If you'd like to express interest in these classes, please click on the button below and fill out the form. I'll add you to my list and be in touch with more info closer to the starting date.

Thanks for reading this far - it's been a long one.
Don't forget my FREEBIE FRIDAY's for the next few months.
Get those Christmas lists ticked off early and be that smug one who's not panicking three days before the 25th Dec.

Have a great September! Stay Safe!
🤞🏼 for some sunshine☀️
Lots of love,

Life has been somewhat topsy turvy for the past few years. With Covid affecting the whole world and then my own little world being challenged with the tedium that comes with trying to sell my house and move to somewhere new; I've been feeling somewhat overwhelmed. The one constant in my life has been my yarns, hooks and needles. I honestly think they are to thank for getting me through the past four years with a semblance of sanity in tact.

If I was to rank 2022 on a scale of 1 - 10, it's a solid 5. Neither wonderful nor disastrous, in school report terms, "could do better". A new life and a new start is in reaching distance, I just have to be patient. I’ll keep doing the right things to make it happen and hopefully, before long I’ll be sharing with you my new adventure.

This day was always going to come, the day I say au revoir to all of you who signed up to my newsletters, visited my website, bought my products and offered kind words of support. Many of you did that regularly and I’m really grateful.

It took a pandemic to make me realise that I am enough. Yes, the me that I am today is more than enough, I don’t need to be anything more. I discovered that I don’t need to wear make-up and wash my hair every day (yes, I used to wash it every day - how ridiculous was that) and my pared back wardrobe was more than enough too.
