Colour My Dreams started after many years of sitting in front of a computer and feeling the need to get back to the crafting days of my youth. Finding my bag full of yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks and macrame cord in my loft rekindled my love of macrame, knitting and crochet and I decided to give them another try. It was like riding a bike - you never forget, but you have to complete a few rides around the block to get your balance again and regain confidence in your physical abilities.
Whether it be my skills as a designer or a crafter, I've got a lot of years of knowledge and practise to draw on. I'm loving every minute of rediscovering some old techniques, learning many new ones and finding a fresh, enthusiastic generation of crafters who love creating in these relaxing and satisfying ways.
I hope you enjoy my designs and will support my small business.
Lots of love and colour,
Cathie xx
The Campaign for Wool is a cross-industry initiative convened by HRH The Prince of Wales in January 2010. As a serious environmentalist, the Prince believes that the natural, sustainable and highly technical abilities of wool can offer fashion, interiors and the built environment many superior benefits. Choosing real wool - as the Prince understands - will also help to care for our planet.
Since launch the Campaign for Wool has grown into a global initiative adopted by the wool textile trade, international brands and small independent businesses all of whom want to support rising consumer demand for one of the world’s finest natural fibres.

Colour My Dreams cares about customers. I appreciate you are what makes this little business keep ticking over. If you're not happy about a product you've purchased, please tell me! I'm happy to replace it, repair it or refund you - whatever is best for you.
I love this world of ours & want to help keep it beautiful. I'm very conscious of my carbon footprint and the impact on our world that manufacturing has; I will always endeavour to source responsibly, use recycled materials and use as little plastic as possible.
The JUST A CARD campaign aims to encourage people to support, value and buy from artists, designers, independent shops and small businesses by reinforcing the message that all purchases, however small, even 'just a card' are so vital to their prosperity and survival.
